Knight elected to lead Columbia Lodge

Clair W. Knight has been elected to lead the Columbia Masons in 2015. A 35 year employee at Alcoa, Knight and his wife Bonnie reside in Columbia. .  He is a great Penn State fan and serves as assistant principal of instruction for Masonic District No. One.

Lookingbill, Demuth Rodkey and Representative in Grand Lodge Marlin E. Shughart Jr. Knight  appointed the following to their respective positions in the Lodge. Chaplain Glenn D. Bachert, Senior Deacon Chad M. Zeamer, Junior Deacon, Timothy C. Singleton, Senior. Master of Ceremonies Curtiss H. Pemberton Sr.,   Junior Master of Ceremonies   Mark A.  Landvater, Pursuivant Brian L. Landvater and Tyler David C. Zeamer.

Knight said that he is looking forward to the role of Worshipful Master in 2015 and will continue to involve the community in Lodge activities. Columbia Lodge No. 286 meets monthly at the Masonic Temple 25 Cool Creek Road in Wrightsville. The Columbia Lodge, constituted in 1854 is associated with the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Masonic Bodies and is dedicated to community service by promoting personnel development of the individual.
