On Saturday May 27, 2017, the 1st Masonic District and Freemasonry was on full display in the Mount Joy Memorial Day Parade. Approximately 50 Brothers participated along with the two Grand Lodge Floats, Masonic Villages bus and the Widows Sons motorcycles. The District was honored have the Right Worshipful Duty Grand Master , Bro. Gene Herritt present along with Right Worshipful Past Grand Master, Bro. Jay W. Smith. The Veterans from the Masonic Homes and Brothers were also present and rode proudly on the float. It was a Great Day for Veterans and Masonic Brothers.
