As a member of the First Masonic District, we should all be proud of our accomplishments. Each year we have attained many goals for the betterment of our Craft and for the general good of our communities. By improving our lives within the Lodge, we make ourselves better servants to our Brethren and our community. This is the mark of a Freemason, and this is why I am proud to be part of this Ancient and Honorable Fraternity.
Each year, we, as a District, not as an individual or a Lodge, go hand in hand to make all of our endeavors a success. It is with all of your efforts that we are able to enjoy many unique opportunities. Your participation and assistance throughout the year is more appreciated than you can imagine, and I am looking forward to the upcoming year with all of you.
The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the past, but on building the new. As Freemasons, we should always focus our energies on improving the Craft and our Lodges. We, as Builders and Craftsmen, need to accept the necessity of change in order to ensure the perpetuity of our labor. Great leadership, as in any venture in life, is the key to success. We are most fortunate to be led by Brother Larry A. Derr, District Deputy Grand Master of the First Masonic District of Pa.. His leadership has made The First Masonic District a success, not only within the Fraternity, but also in our communities. He is very proud to be a Mason, and we are very proud to be led by him.
Serving again as Principal, I am very anxious to see the successes that this year holds for all of us. With hard work and persistence, we will continue to improve ourselves, our Lodges, our District, and our beloved Fraternity. I wish everyone the best in all you set out to accomplish.
Sincerely & Fraternally,
Ronald B. Carson PM
