RWJGW DDGM Installed

The First Masonic District is proud to start the New Year out with the Presentations of Brother Larry A. Derr, Right Worshipful Junior Grand Warden, and Brother Ronald B. Carson, District Deputy Grand Master. The Brethren, family, and friends, despite the coldest days of the winter, attended with outstanding support and enthusiasm.

On January 3rd, Brother S. Eugene Herritt, Right Worshipful Grand Master, the Grand Lodge Officers, and the Officers of Ashara-Casiphia, Lodge No. 551 presented Brother Larry A. Derr to the District as the newly installed Right Worshipful Junior Grand Warden.  The First Masonic District is proud and fortunate for Brother Larry’s leadership and love for our Fraternity.  Over nine consecutive years as District Deputy Grand Master of the First Masonic District, Brother Larry attained many goals he challenged the District to achieve. Under his leadership we supported the Dyslexia Learning Center, Youth Groups, and Veterans Hospital in Lebanon County, Local Food Banks, and many more worthwhile organizations.  The First Masonic District wishes him the best and looks forward to supporting him during his tenure in the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.

On January 5th, the Grand Lodge Officers, and the Officers of Lamberton Lodge No. 476 presented Brother Ronald B. Carson to the District as the District Deputy Grand Master of the First Masonic District. The gathering made an evening for him that will never be forgotten. The support from everyone made him feel very proud to be a Mason, especially proud to be a Mason in the First Masonic District.  Brother Ron looks forward to your continued support, trust, and honesty.  Together, he knows we will attain every goal we set out to achieve.

Special thanks the Brother S. Eugene Herritt, Right Worshipful Grand Master for presenting our Brethren with their 50, 60, and 70 year Emblems of Gold and also for making the evening exciting and fun.  The recipients were thankful to be honored by the Right Worshipful Grand Master.  The District is excited to support the Right Worshipful Grand Master over the next two years and is very much looking forward to his leadership.
