Mason recognized for half century of service.
Columbia Mason H. Bruce Ranck received a 50 year service emblem from local Masonic District Deputy Grand Master Larry Derr. Ranch now retired was a carpenter by trade then became a teacher in the Chester County Vo-Tech schools for 24 years resides in Lancaster with his wife Linda. He served as worshipful master of Columbia Lodge in 1974. Columbia Worshipful Master Ricky Warner assisted in the presentation.
Columbia Lodge # 286 meets monthly at the Masonic Temple 25 Cool Creek Road in Wrightsville. The Columbia Lodge, constituted in 1854 is associated with the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Masonic Bodies and is dedicated to community service by promoting personal development of the individual.
